Outstanding Deluxe takedown Winchester model 1895 with checkered deluxe highly figured oil finished walnut stocks. 3 leaf express rear barrel sights and Lyman model 21 sliding receiver sight. Rifle is French fitted in a superb oak and leather travel case with period cleaning tools. The 405 Winchester was well known as Theodore Roosevelts choice as good Medicine for Lion. The 35 WCF cartridge is a medium weight big cartridge suitable for most all American big game. The rifle remains in stunning partially refinished condition and is ready for the field. C& R
